the restored Portuguese building was a peaceful retreat with vintage decor and modern amenities, giving it a cozy home-like feel. the staff were warm and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations for activities and restaurants. the breakfast was delicious and the rooms had comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

The hotel only accepts cash payments, which could be a slight inconvenience for some guests.

Great location, hospitable staff, and beautiful ambiance. The hotel is conveniently close to major tourist spots in the city and the staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast was substantial and delicious, and the property had an elegant charm with upscale amenities. the location was also great, being away from the crowded areas but still within a reasonable distance.

The door stopper in the ground floor bathroom of the cottage was a bit dangerous if not noticed. Otherwise, the property was well-maintained and comfortable, with a warm and courteous management.

The room and facilities were superb, with a modern walk-in shower and high-quality linen. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent, with a raised platform for sunbathing.

Occasionally, the traffic outside could be heard, but it didn't significantly impact our enjoyment of the place. It's worth noting that there aren't any nearby restaurants, but with a microwave provided, we could heat up food we brought with us.
